Outdoor Portrait Photography Workshop

  • Prestvannet Tromsø Norway (kart)

Join Cat Gundry-Beck for an outdoor portrait photography workshop at Prestvannet, combining practical learning with a relaxed atmosphere around a cozy bonfire.

This workshop focuses on working with people in natural light and outdoor environments. You’ll learn about posing in a way that feels natural, how to communicate with the person you’re photographing, and how to build trust to create stronger portraits. We’ll also look at composition, framing, and how to use the landscape as part of your storytelling.

Throughout the session, you’ll have time to experiment, try different approaches, and receive feedback. Whether you’re working with a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or just want to better understand how to approach portraits outdoors, there will be space to ask questions and dive into both technical and creative aspects.

Expect a hands-on, practical workshop in beautiful surroundings, and time to warm up by the fire while talking photography!

*Don’t forget to bring your own warm drinks and snacks, and make sure to book a camera from Tvibit in advance if you don’t have one!

*Our meetup point: Stalheim Bus Stop.
