This letter box will be standing here at Tvibit for the next few weeks to collect your letters. We will use it in different formats including a printed booklet. We hope to imagine a good future for our cooperation and maintain our support and friendship to Gaza and its youth.

Gaza over the last three months has been under attacks, people are suffering and displaced. Children and youth have no access to school or any basic needs of life. Over 30,000 people have been killed and more than 60,000 people injured. Over 1.9 million people are displaced within the Gaza Strip (360 km2). 

This ongoing war is causing humanitarian disaster for the people of Gaza.

This war must stop!

Tvibit would like to express and extend our support for the youth and the people of Gaza, in these difficult times that Gaza is living. For over two decades, we have built cooperation through cultural expressions to benefit the youth of both Tromsø and Gaza, which has involved close cooperation with our good partners in Tromsø and Gaza.

We have used film, art, theatre and music as tools to shed light on the shared narratives between our cities. We have worked to strengthen young people's opportunities to express themselves, tell their stories and create hope for a better future together. We want to continue our work, which we believe is more important than ever.
